Mission Statement

The House of Rasta and Indigenous Affairs (H.O.R.A.I.A) is a community-rooted non-profit that serves as a repository of Rastafari and Indigenous teachings, artifacts, speakers, and sacrament. Our mission is to foster cultural preservation, ethical education, and intergenerational knowledge-sharing that supports both ancestral continuity and community resilience.

Organizational Purpose

We operate as a cultural knowledge hub, committed to:

Archiving and preserving oral histories, ceremonial tools, and teachings
Creating access to cultural knowledge through education and public engagement
Supporting research on traditional health systems, language, and plant medicine
Facilitating mentorship, empowerment, and holistic community development
Promoting reconciliation, dignity, and heritage-based healing
